DirectChat does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app works entirely on your device — you enter a phone number, it opens the corresponding messaging app (WhatsApp, SMS, or Telegram), and that's it. No accounts, no sign-ups, no personal information required.

Analytics

DirectChat uses Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the app is used and to identify crashes, bugs, and unexpected behavior. All analytics data is anonymous — it is not linked to you or your device in any personally identifiable way. Specifically, we collect:

  • General usage patterns to improve app stability and performance
  • Which chat options (WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram) are used most
  • Premium version acquisition metrics
  • Anonymous statistics by region, iOS version, and session duration

Third-party services

We may employ third-party services to assist with app distribution, crash reporting, and usage analysis. These third parties have access only to anonymous, aggregated information — never to your personal data, because we don't collect any. They are required not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Data you choose to enter

DirectChat lets you save recent numbers, rename them, attach notes, and create message templates. All of this data is stored locally on your device — it is never uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed. Premium purchases are managed by the App Store and tied to your Apple ID, not to any DirectChat account.

Security

We value your trust. Since DirectChat does not collect personal data, there is no risk of personal information exposure through our service. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or apps you may access through links within the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
